Customer Review: LOVE IT,..but lots of work
I love this crib tent!!!! I purchased two a few months ago. One for my home and one for the babysitter. My adventure-seeking 18 month old son would otherwise be climbing out. He loves to sleep in it. I think it makes him feel more secure.... Things to consider before purchasing this. 1. The mesh goes all the way around the inside of the bed, which is a good safety idea, however, you will have extreme difficulty using any of your existing cute bumper guards, if you still wanted to. 2. This top is great, but changing the sheets is not for people with back problems. It's not easy to get the matteress in or out. But it can be done. 3. To assemble takes two people or one REAL stronge one. To push the rods into the pockets takes more strength than I had in my hands. 4. The way it fits on the crib, makes it hard to slide the side rail down. I leave mine up all the time since my son can stand up. However, for a infant, just know that the dome moves down when you release the side rail. I don't think it will break anything...or it hasn't the few times I tried. Overall, this is a AWESOME product and it worked great on my child's sleigh crib. I highly recommend it.
Customer Review: Keeps toddler from climbing out
I have a 2-year-old daughter who sometimes climbs out of her crib. She is not ready for a bed, so the crib tent was a must for keeping her safe. I had no trouble understanding the instructions for putting the crib tent together. There was one part I found a little tough for me physically, but my husband managed it in just a few seconds. Installing it onto the crib was very simple. I like that this tent includes mesh that wraps all the way around the sides of the crib. Previously, I was using the Crib Shield mesh bumpers to prevent my daughter from getting her hands or feet between the crib rails. Now, I have a single product that tackles both issues. I must agree with other reviewers who said the zipper is loud. It really is. That's not an issue for me, because if I need to check on my daughter, I just glance in. The mesh is very easy to see through -- easier than the old Crib Shield I was using. However, if you had a newborn that you were putting into the crib asleep and then wanting to zip the tent up without waking the baby, I could see how that could pose a problem. That is my only reason for not giving this product 5 stars. Changing the crib sheets is awkward with this on the crib, and getting it on and off is enough of a production that I wouldn't want to do that every time I change the sheets, but I was already used to this extra trouble from having the Crib Shield on. All you have to do is reach into the tent, lift one end of the mattress and put the sheet over the corners of that side, then lift the other end of the mattress and put the sheet over the remaining two corners. It is a little bit of a pain, but once you get accustomed to it, no big deal. Some reviewers mentioned that you cannot lower the side of a drop-side crib when using this crib tent. That's not true, at least not for mine. It's true that the drop side doesn't go down as easily and maybe not quite as far because the crib tent restricts its movement a bit, but it definitely can be lowered with the crib tent on. My biggest concern in buying this product was that my daughter just wouldn't like it, but we made a big deal about giving her a "special cave" to sleep in, and she went for it. She's been sleeping in her "special cave" for a couple of months now and it's holding up very well to regular use.

As a student looking for a credit card, everything is going to be foreign to you at first. Don't worry, it happens to all of us. The best thing about applying for a credit card online is that you're able to read all of the terms and conditions before applying without having someone breathing down your neck while getting that free t-shirt.

By now, you've probably noticed those pesky credit card tents set up on your campus. It's quite simple, you sign up and the companies either supply you with a free lunch or an extra large t-shirt that you'll never wear. America likes free things and this is exactly why these types of systems work.

Let's look at the downfall of applying for a credit card for that free t-shirt. When applying, you're not going to be able to know exactly what you're applying for. You're going to feel rushed when filling out the form and sometimes, you won't even know the APR rate, which is a bad thing.

The nice thing about applying online is that you're able to have choice. Instead of having one credit card company pushing one credit card, you can target a specific group of cards. So if you're looking for a student credit card, you're able to find a website designed for that niche. From there, you'll be able to browse each and every card carrier such as MasterCard, VISA, etc.

The nice thing about applying online is that you actually have a choice. You're able to sit down, take your time and read what each credit card is about. Every card out there offers many rewards such as gas rewards, hotel rewards, and so much more. Just because you're a student, this doesn't mean you're going to get these rewards. Most of the times you won't receive these rewards are if you have bad credit.

When you think of the kiosks, you can't really think of perk besides getting that t-shirt. Let's face it. You're not going to be able to read the terms and they always supply you with a t-shirt that doesn't even fit. So the question is, is it worth it in the end?

When applying for your first one, especially when you're a student, it's very important that you do your research and find what you're getting yourself into. Further down the road when you have established credit and you know what cards are all about then maybe that free towel or t-shirt won't be a bad idea after all.

In the meantime, it's very important that you take the time to either do your research online or ask around your family and friends. This way you'll know exactly what your credit card is all about and you'll feel good in the long run knowing you've applied for a card that will actually come to good use!
